Plastic Granulators: The New GV/GVS 250/450 Model

Plastic granulators are specialized machines designed to reduce the size of plastic materials into smaller granules, facilitating recycling, reprocessing, and polymer handling. Granulators also allow the conversion of production waste and unused plastic parts into reusable granules. This granulator features a heavy-duty sheet metal construction and is ideal for reclaiming sprues, parts, or production waste from injection molding machines, extruders, and especially from blow molding processes, such as bottles and containers.
Its optimized design includes a curved back wall in the cutting chamber combined with an open rotor. This configuration minimizes the risk of blockages during operation and prevents pieces from getting stuck inside.
Compact and fully soundproofed, the machine is designed for industrial environments, ensuring low noise levels during operation.

Main Applications

The GV/GVS 250/450 granulator is designed for size reduction of plastic materials such as PE, PP, PVC, and more. It is particularly suitable for granulating blow molding waste, including bulky items like bottles, containers, and processing scraps.
Thanks to its low feeding height, the machine can be loaded easily, either manually or via a small conveyor belt. It is ideal for inline recycling applications.
An optional configuration with an open rotor is available (model GVS 250/450), which is better suited for smaller parts, such as injection-molded components or profiles.
